Better for your health

Of course, there is no one size fits all when it comes to diet and lifestyle.

The ultimate recommendation is to learn how to listen to your body and this is what we should be trying to instill in our children too!

In a nutshell it all comes down to balance, everything in moderation

All, I repeat, ALL macronutrients and micronutrients including fat, carbohydrate, protein, vitamins, minerals are crucial for health.

Through good eating habits we can lower the risk of heart disease, diabetes and improve our immune system, longevity, learning, memory, energy levels, digestion and even emotional state! (1)

What do our ingredients do for you?

CHICKEN

1.Stronger Bones and Muscles

An excellent source of amino acids, which are used to build muscle in our bodies, like blocks of lego joining together!  Eating protein also promotes healthier bones, decreasing the risk of injuries and even osteoporosis.

2. Weight Management and Heart Health
Including protein with every meal can help us feel more full, which in turn helps to promote better weight management. Healthier weight lowers the risk of heart problems such as high blood pressure and  heart disease.

3. Better Mood
The amino acid tryptophan has been shown to increase serotonin levels  (the “feel good” hormone) in our brains. Although the amount of tryptophan in chicken won’t be high enough to make you feel euphoric, it has certainly been shown to help!

4. Vitamins & Minerals

  • Vitamin B12

  • Tryptophan

  • Choline

  • Zinc

  • Iron

  • Copper

PEA PROTEIN

Although chicken is an amazing source of protein, pea protein compliments it very well by matching some of the benefits such as Muscle growth, satiety and heart health. Pea protein also has some other benefits;

  1. Relatively easy to digest

  2. Source of Fiber: Which plays a part in the management and prevention of diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, weight gain, gut health and cancers. Fiber, depending on the type, will help keep your energy levels balanced, your gut clean and feed the amazing bacteria you need there!  (1)

GLUTEN - FREE CRUMB

Of course For those with Celiac Disease, gluten causes inflammation in the small intestine, which reduces the number of nutrients that can be absorbed and can lead to malnutrition.
There are also other reasons why people transition to become gluten free;
For many people, gluten intolerances cause inflammation throughout the body which may lead to them choosing gluten free intermittently or tolerating small amounts throughout their diet.
Those who suffer from IBS, lactose intolerance, wheat allergy and gluten sensitivity may choose to eliminate or reduce gluten intake and feel the benefits!
